| One More Way to Burn Your Bread |

Found this beauty sifting through randomness on the world wide web. This sucker is the ultimate man's microwave. Ever have those moments where you just can't leave the couch for a big game? Well, make sure your TV microwave is plugged in and primed to the right channel beforehand. That way you can stand up from the TV and spin around to see the same game going on screen of your...microwave!?
Yeah, so while this is awesome for men, it's a bit over the top for most women that spend their time in the kitchen. And like so many women out there, this thing (if used during the course of cooking a meal) just adds one more reason a woman is going to completely forget she put some bread in the oven to broil. My mother is notorious for burning bread. I love her for it! It's a little quirk that I wouldn't change for the world. But come on people...what woman is going to stop watching Opera long enough to remember she should be watching her garlic bread in the oven? Pssssh. Who uses timers anyways! |

| Welcome |
Microwaves.
They pop our corn, heat our burritos, and generally help in keeping the human race lazy. But for some stupid reason, I love them.
It became an obsession about a year ago when I first went to my friend Jo's house. Her mother's microwave was like staring at some technological dinosaur, which isn't hard considering that our "new" technology last about a week before someone creates something better, faster, and/or more proficient.
Still, this crazy piece of history caught my eye for one reason and one reason alone...

IT HAS NO NUMBER PAD!
Can we say old school? Oh yes. Yes, we can. Not to mention the fact that none of us could figure out how to shut the damn thing off when we were done...aside from letting the timer just run itself down, which meant microwaving...air.
